| 40014 |  | Putney Bridge and the approach roads... On the northbound approach, I've bit hit (and run) by a driver turning left on to Lower Richmond Rd, across the cycle lane (frequent near misses). The southbound direction is usually a battle with the dozens of buses, who frequently pull away from stops as cyclists are still passing them. If the Bridge were reduced to one lane in each direction (plus the existing S/B bus line), there would be plenty of room for dedicated cycle facilities, possibly with both N/B and S/B located on the west side of the bridge, thus facilitating access for cyclists to/from Bishops Park, which already has a network of cycle paths. | Dutch-style cycleway: Problem dutchcycleways |
